Meredith R. Bushnell specializes in tax planning for high net worth individuals and closely held businesses. Ms. Bushnell advises individuals and businesses regarding the tax implications of a variety of business and estate planning transactions and assists clients in structuring those transactions in a tax efficient manner.
Experience
Prior to joining Barulich Dugoni Law Group, Inc., Ms. Bushnell was an associate in the Tax Group at Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian, LLP where she represented venture funds and venture backed companies. Ms. Bushnell advised venture fund clients on issues related to fund-raising, fund formation, internal operations, reporting and investor relations. In addition, Ms. Bushnell acted as tax counsel on a variety of mergers, acquisitions and offerings involving venture-backed companies.
Education
In 2001 Ms. Bushnell earned an LL.M. in taxation from New York University School of Law.
In 1997 Ms. Bushnell graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law where earned her J.D. and was admitted to the Order of the Coif and Thurston Society 1997.
Ms. Bushnell received her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1992.
